Cloud Busting

In 1986, when my Aunt came out from Montana to stay with us for the summer, I remember that we all went to this little restaurant on the top floor of a local hotel. We could see about 300 degrees of the Circle and close to 80 miles from our vantage point. We could see the Sky over the Olympic Mountains in the West, but not the Mountains themselves, and to the Cascade Mountains on the East side. And from Mt. Baker in the North to Mt. Rainier in the South. It was a beautiful day with lots of Fluffy Clouds floating across a Blue Sky. I was explaining about Cloud Busting. I had just got back from camp where it had puckered up to rain on our picnic. For the 3 hours that we were at the beach I'd Focused All my Concentration punching a hole in the overcast sky to keep the sun shining on our beach & also to keep the rain from falling from overhead. Every once in a while some one would come over to see why I was sitting by myself & I'd ask them to help me for a few minutes. When I packed up to leave, the sun went away & it started raining!!! I mean, a drenching down pour, which is very Unusual for the Seattle Area.

My Aunt didn't believe me. So I challenged her to Focus All her Concentration on a small Cloud, & Imagine only Blue Sky there. We all Concentrated for between 5-10 minutes. Instead of getting smaller the little Cloud started to Grow!! She said, "See! You can't affect Clouds! Clouds do whatever Clouds do!" Before I could reply, the waitress came to take our order. Then we started talking about other things & Cloud Busting was Forgotten.

We were just about finished with our meal when my Aunt looked out the window & screamed. She was so frightened she was Incoherent! For a minute there I thought she was going to faint!! All she could do was point out the window. Finally she managed so say, "No Clouds!" Sure enough there was not a Cloud in the Sky!! They had Not moved on, they had ALL Evaporated!! Every Cloud in our nearly 80 mile sky view, had All Evaporated!! Some of the Clouds had been Big Fluffy Puffy Clouds. Even I was Surprised. But, after all, we all had put out a LOT of Mental Energy Imagining that Little Cloud being Blue Sky!
